Services

Annual health checks and vaccination

We recommend annual health examinations for all pets, and twice yearly for senior pets. A thorough examination of all of your pet’s body systems is carried out so we can detect any changes that may affect your pet’s health and wellbeing.

Behavioural Consultations

Should your pet develop a behaviour issue, our staff can help. We offer advice for small issues over the phone or at our reception desk, but major problems are more complicated as they may be the result of a medical problem, a behavioural issue, or even a combination of the two.

Senior Care Programs

At this difficult time, our staff strives to make your pet’s last days as comfortable, dignified, and pain-free as possible. With this in mind, we provide euthanasia services at the hospital or in your home if you prefer. Knowing how hard it is to lose a pet, we also offer compassionate bereavement counselling.

Weight Control Programs

Feeding your dog or cat a balanced diet is the foundation of a long and healthy life. Our team can help you develop, implement, and maintain a plan that keeps your pet both healthy and satisfied.

Desexing & Microchipping

We recommend all puppies be desexed. The optimum age is between 5-6 months of age just prior to the animal reaching sexual maturity. Desexing not only prevents unwanted pregnancy, but helps prevent pets from roaming, fighting, and greatly reduces the chance of developing some forms of cancer (Females – Uterine & Mammary Cancers and in Males – Prostate and testicular cancer).

We also provide microchipping services to help if your pet is ever lost. If your pet is lost and handed in, a vet will be able to scan for the chip and contact you straight away.

Dental Care and Preventative Options

Dental disease is the most common problem affecting our pets these days, with 80% of dogs over 4 years of age suffering from some form of Dental Disease! Dental disease not only causes Gum Inflammation, Foul Breath and the loss of teeth – It can also contribute to heart and kidney disease. By starting early with your puppy you can help prevent these problems from arising.

Our in-house laboratory has the latest biochemical, haematology, and electrolyte testing equipment for accurate diagnoses with quick results.
